Here at TCS we do not proselytize but rather teach about Jesus Christ by using the King James Version of the Holy Bible. Our School philosophy states that we believe Jesus Christ is at the center of all learning.  Our Goal is to provide our students with a curriculum from a biblical perspective that prepares and inspires our students for success in life.  Our educational program will provide students with the skills and abilities necessary to sustain and defend a Christian worldview.  It is our sincere desire that this institution will glorify God, and be a blessing to present and future generations.

Curriculum Used:

Just Bible- Positive Action Curriculum, Bible Curriculum for Christian & Home Schools.  The website for Positive Action is www.positiveaction.org

Bible Curriculum is taught on a daily basis.  Bible class is a subject matter area that is segmented on the formal report cards and progress reports of every TCS student.  Bible quizzes/testing is given in written and/or oral format according to school standard for grades k-5.  Bible verse recitations are completed on a weekly basis and are expected of students in grades 1rst – 5th grades.  All students are taught the United States Pledge of Allegiance, pledge to the Christian Flag, and to the Christian Bible.  These pledges are recited during daily morning assembly.

Chapel Service

Wednesday Chapel is directed by the schools founder and Pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. The chapel services are engaging and age appropriate. Pastor Terry has written that the primary purpose of this institution is to prepare children in this present age so that they, at a very early age, know who they are and what their human existence means.

“Please students, when speaking correctly you must always use your top lip, your bottom lip, your teeth, your tongue and all the muscles around your mouth!”

-         Pastor Jimmy Terry Sr.

A noted quote often used during chapel and during Bible verse recitation.

“If excellence is a possibility, then good is not good enough!”
