Spiritual Life Here at TCS students are taught about Jesus Christ through the King James Version of the Holy Bible and the ACSI Bible Curriculum.   Our school Philosophy states that we believe Jesus Christ is at the center of all learning.   Our goal is to provide our students with a curriculum from a Biblical perspective that prepares and inspires our students for success in life.   Our educational program provides students with the skills and abilities necessary to sustain and defend a Christian worldview. Bible classes are taught daily with weekly Bible verse recitations.   All students are taught the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag, the Christian Flag and to the Bible.   Curriculum Used: Association of Christian Schools International ASCI Bible Curriculum – www.acsi.org  A Beka Bible Curriculum / www.abeka.com Zonderkidz Holy Bible KJV www.zondervan.com Bible class is a subject matter area that is segmented on the formal report cards and progress reports of every Tabernacle Christian School student.   Bible quizzes/testing is given in written and/or oral format according to school standard for Grades K-5.   Bible verse recitations are completed on a weekly basis and are expected for students in grades K – 6th grades.  Chapel Service Wednesday Chapel is directed by the schools founder and Pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.   The chapel services are engaging and age appropriate.   Pastor Terry has written that the primary purpose of this institution is to prepare children in this present age so that they, at a very early age, know who they are and what their human existence means.    Community guest are invited to share. “Please students, when speaking correctly remember you must always use your top lip, your bottom lip, your teeth, your tongue and all of the muscles around your mouth!” - Pastor Jimmy Terry Sr. - A noted quote often used during chapel and during Bible verse recitation.
