Tabernacle Christian School Fundraising Philosophy: Fundraising is an activity,   which, with proper guidance, can be a positive learning exercise for TCS students. While raising funds is paramount; additional student  benefits include that which fundraising teaches: Teaches responsibility, honorable work ethic, life  lessons, oral communication, goal setting, rewards,  ownership and service to others.   Students also  experience an economic exercise and function within a  working model.  We believe these exercises help to balance the students  educational experience and encourage healthy citizenry.     As stated in Luke 2:52, “And Jesus increased in wisdom  and stature, and in favor with God and man.” As a ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church since 1998,  Tabernacle Christian School’s mission is to provide an  excellent education in all areas of life and try to make it  available to as many families as possible that wish to join  this mission.    To make up the difference of what we  charge for tuition and what it actually costs, in addition  to developing new programs and improving facilities, we  conduct fundraising events and ask as many families as  possible to participate.   Not only does this help offset the financial shortfall but also contributes to other areas of  student and family life as well.
